I currently own a property and have rented a room out to a friend for the past two years. Recently he has been late with his payments, he only pays in cash..and he owes me money for bills. I have given him a month notice..but verbally..and I am scared that he will leave without paying me the money he owes me from the bills. Is there anything I can do legally to get my money back from him?
P.S He did sign a contract when he moved in
