Well here is the deal. My dad owns this house my husband and I have been renting from him without an agreement for 12 years now. We stopped paying rent about two years ago (long story and dad has a lot of money, no problem). Well I got separated from him a year ago and he refuses to leave that house or pay rent. What are my husband’s rights as far a eviction? I mean, can my dad kick him out with the police immediately or does he have to go through a lot of court stuff to get him out? My dad wants him out yesterday but has been lazy and careful about it.
